Dumb Animals

In the midst of all the turmoil in the world A simple reconnect with the past Can make the crap that we constantly hear Seems so unimportant real fast So unimportant in the overall scheme The only thing that matters is love With everything else we're forced to endure Love's bigger than all else above Love of nature where creatures abound We're just part of the overall scene Soon we'll realize as intelligent as we are Must be missing a certain gene A gene these so called dumb animals possess Which allows them to coexist There's a lot these dumb animals can teach us Wouldn't that be a crazy twist So I ask you, who are the real dumb animals It's us, it's definitely us humans Maybe some day in the future we'll all smarten up And be more than intelligent cavemen

Oh how I wish we humans could act more humane. Our animalistic nature seems destined to create our demise. I appreciate your insights and wisdom, dear Jack. Wishing you a splendid day, hugs, Sara

We've advanced to such amazing degree yet can't advance past our war-like past! Sad! Love from the north xxx
