Dull

Here is my reflection
Tainted by perfection
Looking through my eyes
In no particular direction
Reality, an overwhelming pressure
Sanity, constant endeavor
Lost in shadows, caressing the flame
Burn it to ashes, wash away
Gone again, another space
Put together a different face
The soul, my being
If I knew the song
My spirit would sing
The purest fire
Burns the brightest
The chosen ones
Control the mightiest
Ascend higher
On wings of fire
With the bones of old
You build your empire
A guiding star
Shines from a far
Find salivation
Where you are
