Ducks Upon A Pond-tsf

Two Seven Four Contest
Charles Messina

I throw
myself
upon
a pond
swimming
without
a care

As ducks
float by
I float
with them
flapping
my arms
with flare

I face
their stare
and grow
envy
their eyes
bring warmth
and bliss

A quack
escapes
my lips
the ducks
quack back
I leave
a kiss

Charles, I'm a duck groupie. I just love them. I can sit in the park, watching, and be completely mesmerized. Thank you for sponsoring this contest. I truly enjoy them.
