Ducks In Spring
I like to hear the bells in Spring
and see the ducks come flying in,
next will be their fuzzy young
upon the lake in lazy rings.
The sun as if to cheer them on
will hang a rainbow in the clouds,
and soft sweet rain will water all,
off and on from break of dawn.
The buttercups in meadow play
entice me on a warm Spring day.
