Drunken Moon - Haiku

lightning bolts rip sky
                                                        moon disappears to get drunk
                                                        stygian gloom settles

                                                        ...........0............................

                                                        half-moon teases cloud
                                                        creeps through the sky drunkenly
                                                        light-dappled waters

Thanks Eve...your comment is very encouraging, esp. I don't really know if I'm doing this haiku right.

Hi! I liked your moon poems. It's hard to believe there was a man on the moon once. Neil Armstrong. When I look at the moon, I remember him. And thanks for visiting my "lonely Child" poem...~~Darlene
