Drowned Soul

Catastrophies broke my soul But it never forget to love Life takes mysterious route Where heart is like empty street Trying crowds, trying lonliness and trying what not i surrendered to nothingness All those horrible wars are over But that beautiful butterflies never returned All this waiting seems regretful I wish to see you again before my hairs turn white and my face covered with wrinkles Can't stand to this melting youth anymore You are somewhere far away Laughing at my fake smiles and forced laughs Its all over says my soul Say no to dreams Isn't it aweful without you moon seems like a scary mask I am a wreck without hook A drowned soul i am and nothing like high hopes Date:03/jul/2022 Contest name: 2022 Poetry Marathon Mile 6 Poetry Contest Sponsor:Mark Toney
