Drop Your Word!

Why don't you tell me,
What you really want to say.
And please stop playing,
These games you play.
If you really don't love me,
Then, go ahead and let me know,
So, I won't keep loving you more and more,
And it won't keep getting harder to let you go.
I don't want to keep loving you,
If you're not here to stay,
If you go ahead and go now,
I promise not to stand in your way.
I'm not saying I don't want you,
Or that I don't love you any more,
But it will only grow stronger,
If you don't go ahead and walk out the door.
Please don't worry about me,
I will be fine,
These tears will wash away,
In a matter of time.
You'll always be in my heart,
But, if it's not me you want, then I know,
I have no other choice,
But to let you go.
So, please... just tell me,
Before this goes on too long,
I doubt that next time,
I can be this strong.
