Dripping Raindrops

Dripping Raindrops The rain began quite lazily tap tap tapping on the canopy Drop drop dropping on the jade green grass under subdued light drops shine like glass The wind kick ups a ruffled breeze soon the rain is drip drip dripping from the trees Loud thunder strikes and with it brings rain pouring down in liquid strings I hoped this storm would quickly pass and before too long it had cried it's last Again I hear- drip drip dripping from the trees as the raindrops drip off the fresh spring leaves.

Thank You Edward :) Really happy you enjoyed this. I am not getting an email any more letting me know I have comments, so I never know when someone comments on my work unless I find it by accident, like now :)

Rain, rain go away, Lenna wants to go out and play. :) It is a beautiful day here but still does not compare to the beauty of your rain drop poem. This was wonderful my friend.

Keep your chin up and smile, it will pass soon I am sure. I have a friend in Virginia who is experiencing the same weather. I'll bet just a few more days of the wet stuff and you will be seeing the sun saying...Ok, Lenna, let's go, time to play. :)

Yes she does :) Thank You Chris- I try to stay away from repeat words, but not this time. I hope you can enjoy your beautiful day. The weather here is really starting to bring me down. It hasn't been really nice for over a week. So overcast, dark and cloudy, rainy, humid, ugh
