Drip, Drip, Drip

Everyday the same old rain Some days I shelter Slide to one side Hide under the canopy Some days there is no shelter A sudden storm Engulfed within black clouds A hurricane So ferocious I pray to be swept away Some days a drip A constant drip, drip, drip Mind numbing drip Chinese water torture upon my heart Some days, no choice I cry A steadfast trickle A stream of infantile droplets Etching permanent valleys upon my cheeks Some days the floodgates open Release a deluge of salty aqua A thundering waterfall I cry or I drown Some days a ray A slight far away ray Within my vision, a glimmer Within my heart It's forever raining When you passed away You carried my sunshine with you My brother, my best friend I miss you I love you R.I.P 14, 02, 2010
