Drip

As the sink slowly drips
Water down the drain
The sound is enough
To make a man go insane

Life is alike
Water down the drain
For sometimes life is enough
To make anyone go insane

Some are wealthy
Some are poor
Some just desire
Just a little bit more

Yet the answer is this
One must find the joy
Alike the young
With a child’s toy

If happiness is not found
And obsession takes hold
Money is nothing
After your body turns old

While living all the money
Will buy anything
While living all the money
Is a horrible thing

Money is a curse
Wealth is an addiction
This is just an educated
Teen’s prediction

While the rich get whatever
They want and desire
And dress in expensive
Fancy attire

All the poor and the helpless
Find the entire thrill
By noticing that happiness
Comes not in the fill
Of the bank, yet it comes

With the notification of small
Things, ones notice
Even a sensual phone call
One finds joy
Even in the rainfall

Rich and perfect
Happy or poor
One should always
Find more
