Drifting

Is it too late to walk again
The roads that lead to where we’ve been
Before we go our separate ways,
And say goodbye to all our days?

Is it too late to talk about
The things inside we can’t let out,
Before our paths refuse to cross,
And all of what we had is lost?

Is it too late to say I care;
To know that you’ll be waiting there,
Before our hearts have turned to stone,
And time has left us on our own?
