Dress Code

i'm wearing
a t-shirt
that

reads
"so far
this is

the oldest
i've ever
been"

it's a little
darker
then

sky blue
with a
soft

white
lettering
letting all

who read
exactly
know

what it
means so
i've decided

not
being a
fashionable

being
to buy
six more

of the
exact
same

shirt
so i
can

not need
to think
oh dear

what to wear
today because
they are all the

same

and so
hopefully
years and so

many
years
from

now
i will
be

eventually
found
dead

and all
will read
that this is

truly
the oldest
that i've ever

been

We who have a favorite sweatshirt for at least twenty years can certainly relate to this one, Jeff.

Thanks Caren, but I just actually bought this shirt and was wearing it at work yesterday, and got thinking, with retirement less than a year away, this would truly serve me well as a real dress code. (I did see in a catalog a t-shirt that read "I'm Retired This is as Dressed up as I Get")
