Drenching In the Rains

Lands around water sodden
Unsafe to be trodden
Landscape turned to green from brown
Watter logged and cold drawn
Roads brown and grey
Littered with water puddles
Under big trees animals huddles
We all looked forward to this rain
Its now a sort of a pain.....
Blue skies now overcast and grey
No sign of a single sun ray

I let this rain kiss me
Let all see that it caresses me
... how it wets me with silver drops
As within me a peppy feeling crops
Wetness falls on me from up above
Some hate it but i find in it lots of love

Feels so content when in this rain
No sorrow or feelings of pain
May catch a cold but i just dont care
A soothing sensation from the grass below to the clean fresh air
I now arise and walk in this rain
Having captured these precious moments in my brain

My minds eye watches but moments gone
On a puff of cloud moved on...

No sorrow or feelings of pain..
When drenching in this rain
