Dreary Dreamlessness

Lulled into a drugged dreamless sleep, She slips into shadowy sighs, Lost beyond her reach, somewhere deep, Unmoving, like a log, she lies. When she wakes, weariness remains, Is there a way out of these chains?

Very expressive, Joanna. Sleep doesn't always leave one rested--TRUE! Janice

Oh, the torment of a restless night's slumber, Joanna. It's an endless repetition of the same ordeal. I, too, have experienced such difficulty in attaining sound sleep in the past. May the stars align in your favor in the contest.

Unfortunately, I wake up several times at night but am adamant about not taking sleeping pills. I don't want to get used to them. May you have a restful night.

Nothing worse than a broken night's sleep Joanna, it's the same night after night and you're stuck in a cycle. Good luck in the contest. Tom
