Dreary Days

Dreary Days

Mid-day, damp and dreary
       In an unrelenting seige,
              Impails hopes of cheery
Thoughts, that chill within it's breeze!
No help seen for my plight--
                                   Of fruitless aquisition!
                                          The sun has taken flight!
                                                 And left a pale rendition.

Alas but look ye back now quick... unfurl that brow imagine the trick... a sun flys again in burst of flame... plays with you it's silly game... For within the chill is wildest night... amidst the siege is deepest lust... within the plight is seen our fight... surrender with pleazure we all must. And this was the first of yours I've read... now off to see what else ye've packed away in yer seabag. SeaWolf

I love how you have reinforced the action by putting the word flight off to the right. Neat poem Lady. May you fall into a puddle of love and can't get up. TLee
