Dreamy Things

How honored I would be
To have you next to me
To hold your hand while strolling through the park
Sitting by the riverside
My heart would be wide-eyed
As we talked and laughed and listened until dark

What I wouldn't do
To make this dream come true
Though it may not, that's just the way it goes
See that's what dreams are for
They open up the door
To landscapes and idylls that just the dreamer knows
