Dreams Wrapped in Fairy Dust

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Creeping softly through the iron gate.
I can't believe this has been my fate.
I stumbled into a faerie dance by chance
My stupor at their sight was truly a trance.
Lynx and fairy fly dart over the halcyon skies.
This rich fairy queen draws the world to her eyes.
Rarely seen on Earth, charm is planted to and fro.
Day or night, they are a sight to behold and glow.
I searched for heavenly beings in my quest.
With hymns and harp melodies to inspire zest.
My frail fantasies lingered, in ashes of my life.
Once adorned in flamboyant strife.
Joyfully singing a song of blessing for the crop.
Expressing themselves with the ethereal flop.
Their autumn magic will not be shattered.
They pirouette, their excitement is clattered.
Soon, I realized that I'd been whistling a long time.
The faeries' mesmerizing song was sublime.
I was instantly enveloped and sprinkled.
They now belong to the fairy dust, tinkled.
I have entered this world filled with the uncanny.
They've urged me to explore every nook and cranny.
My former house is gone; my fantasy was granted.
This turned into an avid day, as the light was slanted.
I climbed as my forefinger burned and scarred.
I felt a lightness flutter to my hips, marred.
To climb into desiccated ribcage cotta.
And my breath began a joyful cantata.
With emerald dragon curling through her hair.
The elfin maiden strokes his emerald tail.
And whispers incantations to the air.
That peace on earth will one day soon prevail.
