Dreams of You

I lay within
Impenetrable darkness
The white noise
Flushes my train of thought
As it embeds and deploys
The emptiness I had forgot
Prior to your divine love that has filled
Every dream I've ever sought
But, now leaves my vision distilled
While every second alone in the dark
Rings of faltered hope nearly killed
And it feels as if the beat of my tattered heart
Lay congealed without the completing piece,
My yearning mind drifts to space
And I find my aching soul peace
Within my mind where you're in my embrace
Holding my pillow, drifting off into dreamland
Oh, won't you fill me with your grace
And walk with me in my dreams holding my hand
Inhabiting the empty space...
That you have enlarged within my heart
