Dreams of Insomnia
I slept soundly
while dreaming I had a terrible case of insomnia,
which I finally cured
by strangling a persistent bird.
Overcome by remorse,
I forced myself awake
and was greatly relieved
to find I was reprieved.
But then, I could not sleep all night.
I was so unsettled.
The only thing I could think of to do
was tell this horrible story to you.
