Dreams In the Twilight

Dreams in the Twilight

When the earth in reverence greets the sky

And the sun on  the water reflects in shining hue,

The clouds in graceful moves float and fly

To the dreaming past where soft winds once blew;

The departing sun shines with twilight's glance,

The hills above the waters with shadows rise,

On the shimmering waters their silhouettes dance,

As darkness descends in shades of disguise;

The birds in silence fly to their nests,

Lights in the village begin to shine for the night,

The mind soars , and seldom rests,

Through the path of life, through dreams in the twilight.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
