Dreams I'M Dancing After

Somewhere in the early morning mists
I walk along the turquoise water's edge
watch each vessel as it bobs and lists.
Thankful that I'm not up on that ledge.

So close have I been to giving up
that all my wants and fortunes fade to black
when I could drink from that loving cup.
Never faltering,no looking back.

Yet as I walk the trail of my existence
I know the twists and turns along the way.
It's useless just to offer up resistance.
So I will give my heart and have my say.

Speaking to this world in muted tones
all I ask is a life full of laughter.
Feel the magic deep down in my bones.
Give of love and dreams I'm dancing after.

As long as we live we must hold on to our dreams...anything less would be grievious to our spirit, Deb. I love this very much. Love, Annalise
