Dreams Beyond Dreams

Doors that lead to rusty windowpanes
Wooden frames longing for photographs
A marathon without a finish line but several lanes
Buzzing and signal losses of telegraphs

Multiple doors and a single key
Which door would you unlock?
A needle lost in the sea
Would you swim or would you walk?

Lost souls lingering for the coloured flag
Falling and rising and falling again
Leaping back up like a jolly stag
A progression pattern like an iron chain

Why catch dreams when they’re beyond?
Forbidding the nightmares of screams
Removing your yearning bond
For they are the dreams beyond dreams
