Dreams
Although I know this dream may one day end
It does not stop me pursuing you
I’d like you to be more than my best friend
But I believe that won’t soon come true
My confidence lies deep within the fold
I concentrate now to release it
Not sure it will be as simple as told
But our love is certainly worth it
Body mind and soul all go hand in hand
To form the essence of who we are
You are the sweetest guy in all the land
For you I would travel very far
We must live in the moment from now on
For we never can tell the future
Love from each other we have surely won
Devotion and loyalty so pure
Little niggling fear still pervades my mind
I ask if dreams really can come true
What I wish most as my feelings unwind
To spend the rest of my life with you
