Rolled up sleeves
Palms in a fever
Passion my gloves
Heartfelt forever
Denied the golden light
Entangled in shadows
Reflected out of sight
Into pain's dark corridors
Dreams are a beam
Illuminating the darkest night
Ever bright never dim
From within like a flashlight
Memories I can't post
Steps I can't retrace
Shackles of my past
Cast a cold embrace
Mind's in a twister
Unwind a timeless Rolex
Brooding a rollercoaster
Prayers in a vortex
Dreams are a beam
