Dreams
Day or night.
I've got dreams to remember,
like a lighthouse burning oh so bright.
I hear a song.
That makes me yearn and long.
I sense a smell.
And I am off onto a hill.
Over looking the lights of Phoenix.
Oh what a tale I could tell.
Love can be so sad.
With the setting sun casting a red glow on my lovers face.
I hear myself calling the name of Tad.
I am sorry for the past.
But nothing in this life of mine could last.
I have dreams to remember,
and they are all about you.
I know I will sit here for the rest of my days with dreams of you.
Making wishes that can never come true.
It is a tragedy for me that the dream is over.
I gave you the best of what I had.
I feel so very sad.
I have dreams to remember,
and they are all about you.
