Dreams
I often dream and wonder why,
The words and rhymes within my head.
Should i be true and not deny?
Those words need saving, so do i.
A loneliness, my life must shed.
I often dream and wonder why,
It's hard to hold my head up high
And speak of feelings, never said..
Should i be true and not deny?
This other world, or shrug and sigh.
Why should i hide, or fear to tread?
I often dream and wonder why.
To live in hope, and never cry.
Release my dreams, then look ahead.
Should i be true and not deny?
Rhymes now within my poet's eye,
To share in verse, that can be read.
I often dream and wonder why,
