Dreams

Throughout my life it has evaded me

Though searching often I have let it be

It is not the fame, riches or glory

Or a penthouse in a multi storey

If I found my monolithic bounty

Care not to live in township or county

As twin souls bliss would be so novel

Live anywhere be in cave or hovel

My love transparent for him to see

Admirable heart would unlock the key

So my dream is not of the night time kind

For during daytime it flits through my mind.

I believe we meet our soul mates at least once during our lifetimes but the dream doesn't become reality because be it through fear or inability to see . We walk past each other , We are destined to be reincarnated over and over until we do open our hearts and eyes. Brilliant poem Theresa

Hi Darren, I do appreciate all you have written. I also believe in reincarnation. I have composed a few poems on that theme. I am so pleased to receive your kind comments. Regards Theresa x
