Dreams
A little girl,
Who tried to stand tall.
She was confused,
So she wanted it all.
Deep inside,
Something had broken.
Causing her to shatter,
Causing her to weaken.
The smile that shone,
Was her way of lying.
It made people happy,
But inside she was dying.
This realm,
Was not hers to love.
She wished to be elsewhere,
Somewhere up above.
She cried good bye,
Her eyes,
Reflecting sunbeams.
She was being called,
Called to the land of dreams.
