Dreams
Consider this when pondering life
For nothing's as it seems
What if dreams were really life?
And lives were really dreams
What if dreams are where we're safe?
But in life there's danger and peril
Life is full of infectious disease
While dreams are clean and sterile
Why do we want our dreams to come true,
Are they so much better than life?
If dreams are where we really live
We're free from heartache and strife
Our dreams can take us anywhere
But in life we're somehow confined
When we're awake we're told what to do
But not by our subconscience mind
So when you close your eyes tonight
To silence your daily screams
Remember your dreams is where you live
And your life is really your dreams
