Dreams

You can look, but what do you really see? Even without boundaries, are you truly free? Thoughts of a love that you never knew Dreams that never had a chance to come true. Broken wings that have forgotten how to fly. Whispering breezes of freedom that quietly go by. Giving way to thunderheads parting the sky. So the angels above, will have a place to cry. Memories of a forgotten story heard once in a lullaby. Words from pages that have become frail & dried. AWhite Knight in shiny armor, that will never arrive. Visions of a child waiving good-bye.
