Listen to poem:
Dreams I awoke from a dream Where my life was a mess It wasn't so pleasant I have to confess. It went something like this.. I was lost and alone Trying to find my way back But my legs were like stone And my voice was unheard Or was misunderstood Every earnest 'help' word Or skin-pinching, no good The place was a town So familiar and yet Either people were zombies Or a few I'd once met Sometimes I would run Being scared of my capture. Another, in love And re-living the rapture. Now, fully awake I will meditate this; Whatever the landscape, Or weird lonely Miss I think I replay all the highs And the lows But what it all means.. No one really knows But my future is held In safe hands, I know this. And my face is embraced And my forehead is kissed If I wake in a sweat From this dream we call life I can leave all the drama And worries so rife For the people I love I would look back and ache So I'll stay with them longer And the most of them make What if I appear In the dreams of another? I pray love and kindness On them I will smother So this is my goal; Be extravagant, lovely. And fill someone's dreams So they think fondly of me. As we greet each new day And awake once again.. Know eternity beckons But in dreams we remain Jinjagoliath 4th March 2021

It is a hope, that as I dream fondly, so someone I care for, does also.
