Dreaming In Wrenna

still the season in
texas where drifting in the
hammock leads you to

a different kind of
heat where hazy lazy things
are hard to define

dreaming in Wrenna
of strawberries big as cars
where you can go in

side eat your way out,
of slides that wind and curve for
days, of bluebirds and

their lovely vocal
accompaniment of the
whole beautiful scene

I like how you split the stanzas having the last line connect to the first line of the next. Great line breaks. "hammock leads you to // a different kind of" that was a good way of taking the reader into the dream without saying "dream". Nice one.
