Dreaming

You cannot sleep too? Dreams of me dreaming of you? So it's anticipation for me Of what I am about to see A blank page filled with words unwritten A pen filled with ink about what you could be, makes me smitten Drench yourself in my words unspoken For they are merely but a token The rest of us is something beholden to a seal I'll let the sunlight illuminate those words no one else can feel So as the day breaks and time draws us both near My thoughts and words becoming crystal clear If you and I were never meant to be Then why does it feel like I've searched for eternity Reaching for something in the distance I realize now it's for you I have no resistance
