Dreaming
It really doesn’t take a lot of effort,
To get things feeling better than they seem,
Settle back and close both eyes completely,
And that’s the way to start a brand new dream.
Ambition in a dream is without limits,
The world and even further you can reach,
A rocket ship to outer space potential,
Or just a simple walk along the beach.
The job you’ve always wanted through your lifetime,
The partner that you’ve wanted in your arms,
Successfulness for any team supported,
A pill that when you’re nervous always calms.
Achievement for your children through their lifetime,
Peace throughout the world forever last,
Forgiveness for your little misdemeanours,
That might have happened way back in the past.
Journeys to the places you’ve imagined,
Gaining recognition for your acts,
Taking part in televised great quiz shows,
And blinding folk with all remembered facts.
Anything you’ve thought about as options,
Decided that in dreams you can partake,
The only problem with this type of dreaming,
Before you make them real, you are awake!
