Dreamer

Dreamer
Bits and pieces of mind
travel flow seamlessly
and ever so clear
People and places visited,
some are far and some
are near
Voices of laughter and fun
come into play
I need to decide if I want
to leave or do I stay
Beautiful skies and land
all around
Tucked away in the hills
is a small sweet town
It's as if time stood still
in this quiet little place
My coming here was truly
not a mistake
Kindness and fun etched
in this place
No emphasis put on creed
nor of race
Food and drink and so much
more
Was offered to me as I entered
this door
Kind souls I met as I traveled
far and near
Where am I at? and how did
I get here?
I awoke from this place I
had gone to tonight
I traveled in my dream and
it felt so right
A lucid dreamer is what I
have always been told
Every night a new adventure
unfolds
