Dreamer

I lay my head,
down to sleep;
 close my eyes,
I'm fast asleep.
 I have this dream,
I am running away;
 From what I fear...

a constant nightmare.

 As I run
I look above,
 there it is;
the burning sun.

 My eyes start to burn,
the road starts to turn;
 My heart starts to yearn,
for you.

 I have this dream,
and then I wake up;
 with a feeling of
unworthiness.
