Dreamer
I used to believe in us, in our love, in our trust
But now I see it wasn't enough, it was just lust
I gave you everything, my heart, my soul, my all
But you couldn't see it, you let our love fall
I'm a dreamer, a believer, if I want it, I achieve it
I don't just want it, I need it, your love and affection not mistreated
No more arguing, it gets too heated
Things get said, things not needed
I've not lied, I've not cheated
But it's too late 'cause I'm leaving
I tried to make it work, I tried to compromise
But you always had your guard up, always told lies
I'm tired of the drama, tired of the pain
I need to move on, I need to break these chains
I'm a dreamer, a believer, if I want it, I achieve it
I don't just want it, I need it, your love and affection not mistreated
No more arguing, it gets too heated
Things get said, things not needed
I've not lied, I've not cheated
But it's too late 'cause I'm leaving
I don't know what the future holds
But I know I need to be bold
I'll find someone who loves me true
Someone who'll never make me feel blue
I'm a dreamer, a believer, if I want it, I achieve it
I don't just want it, I need it, your love and affection not mistreated
No more arguing, it gets too heated
Things get said, things not needed
I've not lied, I've not cheated
But it's too late 'cause I'm leaving
I gave you all my love, but you couldn't see it
Now I'm moving on, I won't repeat it.
