For-longing a poet

The struggling flower in a deserts drought

A snowflakes life of drifting by
In hopes to catch a viewers eye
before it’s strings of perfect design
Capture the sun
and quickly unwind

A fluttering leaf upon a tree
Fading it’s deepest darkest green
Melting into amber hues
In hopes of capturing a dreamer
a dreamer
Like
