Dream Past the Blues
Dare to dream past the blues.
See me here waiting for you.
Hands held out take mine
let me see your eyes shine.
Let me hear familiar words of rhyme.
Verses in your joy told of dreams.
Let us together build the seams of
eternal dreams.
I sent a blue rose for you.
knew you were feeling so blue.
Come to me I will heal the day
stay here with me by the way.
Open up your thoughts to me
you know here is where you want to be.
Look into my eyes and see the skies.
I am going to do my best
taking you from this blues rest.
Setting you upon dreams way
come let us chase those blues away.
You and I we can change this dream
making it come true forever more.
