Dream Life

Born in mid april at the start of spring.
Brought to life just as the birds return to sing.
Picture perfect holidays with the promise of the suns warm rays.
Eternal bliss reclining on a poolside chaise.

Born in mid evening on a hot august night.
The sun is slowly fading as a couple starts to fight.
Only promise coming is that leaves are going to fall.
You cry for comfort as they wheel you out into the hall.

Chorus:
Fortunate sons dine on a silver platter.
While deperate ones keep fallling off the bottom of the ladder.
One takes a wife while the other lives in strife.
You get the picture?.
They're both living a dream life.

Sunday morning comes along to call upon the Lord.
One Rolles up in luxury, one in a beat up Ford.
Thank heaven theres still room for both to get in through the door.
Where salvation waits for both, but only one will pray for more.

note: On the chorus, the line, You get the picture is a question the first time and a statement the second.

Ahhh but some are very content to be in the Ford (in my case a VW beetle) I do get your meaning here though. Dream on....

This is really GOOD. it makes me sad too because Joe and I are that one rolling up in the Ford and I am getting so tired of it. But oh well, as long as we keep holding on it will be ok. It truly is just luck of the draw (I sure wish I had the smarts for business!!)

Nice - maybe a couple of misspellings or typing with fat fingers like I do from time to time.
