Dream Land
You walk along a plank of wood, high above civilisation, your eyes flutter
the wood turns to butter
what once was wood, is now a cloud, lifting you higher than you've ever dared to dream
you fall back with certainty, the only place you dare to trust
a soft pillow awaits you, and you breath in fresh linen
your senses are awake, and daring you to seek,
what occurs beyond the sheets
your hands push you up and your feet find their place,
the covers fall away, your bed becomes a ship
you can feel the adventure awaiting your presence
oh if dreams could be forever
your imagination would find you hapiness.
