Dream Girl

(Dedication to Ms. Jenifer Hudson)

Dream Girl
Such a beautiful pearl
A prime Example of Our vocal roots,
You are
By becoming another BLACK rising Star
On the road to SUCCESS, were you in
Hollywood
Our ebony Princess, from "the hood"
Being a Natural, song-bird, in flight
Having been blessed, with the voice of
Gladys Knight
Proving that you could go deep like a
Diver for Scuba
Following the footsteps, of Our young,
Budding Brotha, Cuba
Yet, that you had it going on, were they
In denial
Speaking in terms, of the judges on the
American Idol
Merely, paving the way for you to become
Big as a monster
Upon you're being sworn in, as a Second
Black heir to an Oscar
