Dream After Dream

I had a dream of you last night
  So I sat down to write
Locked tight in your arm
  I was safe from harm
Smile so warm and bright
  Guide me through the darkest night
Stars dancing in your eyes
  Now I realize
More then a friend
  The dream will end
On the wing of a dove
  Deliver my love
I wake to miss
  The sweetest kiss
I open my eyes
  To find the lies
I am alone
  Cold as the stone
Some day I will follow the clues
  And my dream will come true
