Dream

listening to the crackle of distortion my mind a wallowing contortion of endless mystery grey mass enveloping me I cant even try to breathe reaching to pull myself out from under the deep water I plunder but i'm lost within scraping, breaking my skin getting colder and colder grasping my shoulders I sigh why am i down here i'm not going to drown here strength is my retribution slowly focused to contribution hazy emotion, lackluster devotion suddenly my inside is fire overwhelming desire to escape Grabbing the edge of the ice pulling myself upwards away from the frozen dark lake I sit atop a frozen slab my heart pounding, ears ringing shivering I smile, I know i'm safe I awaken, it was a just a dream
