Dream
The monolith stands out stark
against the black background
we dream of a god
some computer unseen
Yet would a computer understand
would a computer feel the emotions we feel
would a computer create a paradise
would a computer create a hovel
We dream of paradise
a world where the violence of life
has disolved into dreams of success
a world of transparent values
admirable bounty cast in a golden cave
yet imagine what you can acheive
you an emotional computer
of complex fascination
An emotional being
of wonderful dreams
able to leap incredable chasms
of intellergent thought
If only we could dream together
imagine the towers we could build
imagine the heights that we could climb
imagine the peace that we could create
We could turn our dreams into reality
creating a world of fantasy in life
Disney land devoted to the land of life
a world of fun and games
where adults played the life of little ceaser
where children laughed and giggled every day
we could build a mountain just to create a slide
we could build a jeep just to have a ride
I can dream of racing car that travel out into the stars
I can dream of peace and life of fun and games of happy wives
I can dream of love's romance the star lite nights where we can dance
I can dream of a world built for fun and game's
If only the world would dream with me
if only they would take a simple step
if only they could dream.
dreams become real when we build a plan.
