Dream

I lie in my dream
My kids are having ice cream
With this big smile on their faces
Wishing this moment could last forever

I am lost in a maze
Lonely and a little dazed
Trying to find my way
There's sand beneath my feet
As I begin to slowly creep
I am so confused
There is no good move

I lie in my dreams
With my kids smiling at me
As I wake, I feel save
Because they are my world
I may get confused at times
But they are what brings me back
In my heart is where they are always kept
