Drawn To
There are many things
About you that have
Always drawn my attention
Towards you.
Your eyes, those beautiful blue eyes
That are like an endless sea.
There is a light in them,
Sometimes shadowed, but always there.
Your strength, you have
The ability to make it seem
That is easy carrying the weight
Of the world on those broad shoulders.
Your laugh, the one
That seems like it bubbles
Up from the bottom
Of your very soul.
Your sense of self,
You have always known who
You are & what you want
To do with your life.
And finally your smile,
That small sweet smile
That is almost a smirk.
And can make me do anything.
In short, everything about you
Draws my attention.
