Drawn Into the Most Bizarre Dream
I stood on a shore so pristine and gleaming,
and being drawn into the most bizarre dream...
everything from imagination to fantasy seemed real,
and with arms outstreched I welcomed this sighting.
Astonishingly, a new world appeared reflecting the rippled sea below
encircled by white clouds swirling around it, not wanting to go...
it was of a navy blue without a patch of green as our former planet seemed;
instantly, I assumed that all the lovely continents had completely dissapeared.
Did I desire to venture myself and live there as an alien from Earth,
start a civilization from the bits of knowledge I had gathered from day one?
" No change for survival, " I told myself considering loneliness and dearth...
then, enlightenment came to me, " It's not impossible...it can be done! "
As a loner, drawn into the most bizarre dream, I meditated to achieve my intent:
to seek God and ask Him to pull out one of my ribs and create my companion...
a kind and giving soulmate, so I wouldn't be taken by fright and wander alone,
but share the new creation with the woman who wouldn't be tempted by a serpent.
