Dramatic Events

Death
Rampages
All things take their toll
Must we suffer so?
Always lamenting loss or change
Till we know not why we exist
Is it just to suffer?
Can we not see past the pain?
Eventually we must move on
Virtually dragging our minds out of the
Eternal darkness that drags us down into chaos
Nothing is worth the heart ache and the pain
That these dramatic events drag us into
Seize the opportunity to grow!

So much truth shared here. Love the last line. Nice use of the acrostic form which can be quite a challenge. Thank you for your kind words regarding my poem. Keep on writing! Happy Thanksgiving! Karen

Yes, how we must suffer to grow. Been to those darkest depths. Suppose I will be there again. So well expressed. Love, Shar
