Draining
Around and around and around
The drain swirls everything down
It sucks up water
It sucks up emotion
It sucks up my life
And delivers to the ocean
You are the drain that
consumes my day
I'm going down; there I go,
Swirling away
Can't you leave just a little drop
I need something to hold onto,
I need something to stop
Nope. That's okay.
I'll just rust in these pipes
Maybe one day, I hope and I pray,
you'll get tired of watching me swirl away
